Preschools, Schools, and Senior Centers

New Mexico Grown helps connect institutions like schools and senior centers to local food producers to purchase and distribute locally grown fruits and vegetables, minimally processed agricultural products, and meat for meal and snack programs. Additionally, it provides awards to these institutions so that they can source this food within their budget and local food producers are fairly compensated.

In this way, we can help pre-K, K-12 students, older adults in senior centers, and early childhood education sites across New Mexico gain access to affordable, locally-sourced food.
