Buyer Types:

• Early Childhood (Early Childhood Education and Care Department - ECECD): Early care and preschool programs, typically placing frequent smaller orders but may also make larger or seasonal purchases depending on program needs and participation. These buyers often look for ready to eat fresh fruits and vegetables, smaller pack sizes, and items that are easy to prepare in early childhood settings.
• K–12 Schools (Public Education Department - PED): School purchasing may occur at the individual site or at the district level serving multiple schools. Some schools purchase  in smaller quantities, while others purchase at higher volume and tend to need reliable case quantities, planned delivery windows, standardized products, and products that fit cafeteria menus.
• Regional Farm to Food Bank (RF2FB): Purchasing may occur directly through the listed food banks or be coordinated by listed food banks on behalf of smaller partner agencies in the emergency feeding network. Purchase volumes vary from smaller orders to larger quantities. RF2FB buyers prioritize fresh, whole produce, economical cuts of meat packaged for household use, and culturally familiar foods. • Senior Centers (Aging and Long Term Services Department - ALTSD): Senior nutrition programs in metro, rural, and Tribal communities. Purchasing varies by site, service model, menu cycle, and whether meals are prepared for congregate dining, home delivery, or both. These buyers often look for fresh fruits and vegetables, culturally familiar foods, dependable staple products, and products that fit planned menus and senior nutrition needs.
