Farm to Table’s New Mexico Farmer Innovation Program is now accepting applications for its Summer 2026 Rural and Tribal Agriculture Initiative Micro-Grants — and the deadline is July 27, 2026.
These competitive, one-time grants of up to $20,000 support short-term projects focused on regenerative agriculture, water conservation, food access, and climate-smart farming in rural and tribal communities across New Mexico. Eligible applicants include agricultural producers, tribal entities, local governments, and nonprofits — with priority given to those working in communities with limited food access.
Funds can be used for equipment, irrigation, soil testing, training, and other on-farm infrastructure. Producers with gross annual farm income under $250,000 are eligible, and first-time Micro-Grant recipients only.
