We are pleased to announce that the New Mexico Public Education Department is hosting listening sessions across the State to inform the rulemaking process for SB4, which will kick off in early 2024. A priority for Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham during the 2023 legislative session, SB4 aims to increase student access to – and the quality of – school meals statewide. Students, parents, district personnel, and community-based organizations are encouraged to attend. In-person listening sessions will be held in Las Vegas, Farmington, Rio Rancho, Roswell, and Las Cruces. A virtual option will also be provided.
