The New Mexico Department of Health (NMHealth) and the New Mexico Grown Coalition have announced the 2024 Golden Chile Awards winners. The awards will be presented at the first-ever, in-person Golden Chile Awards ceremony, which will be held alongside Food & Farms Day, on Thursday, October 24, from 2 PM to 6 PM at the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center in Albuquerque.
This event honors programs and individuals connecting children and seniors to local food. Categories include “Golden Chile,” awarded to 15 organizations, “Blossom,” “Sprout,” and “Seed.” Additionally, Food & Farms Day Awards recognized leaders in farming and sustainable practices.
